Work Function Description: As a Warehouse Worker at Vonk&CO, your responsibilities include loading and unloading electronics using various equipment such as hand tools, EPT (Electric Pallet Truck), forklift, or reach truck, depending on the qualifications of the individual. The role also involves packaging tasks to ensure the safe transport of goods.
General Remarks: Vonk & Co, a family business established in 1947, specializes in the transportation of white goods products in the Benelux. With a motivated staff and a modern fleet, Vonk & Co handles total logistics activities for clients, boasting a storage capacity of approximately 60,000 m2. Join us in contributing to the seamless delivery of products from our warehouses in Tiel to stores, retailers, and consumers.
Work Conditions:
- Location: Tiel or Lienden
- Shifts: Monday to Saturday with a flexible schedule, 06:00 to the end of the work.
- Salary: Order Picker: €12.31 gross/hour (Above 21 years). 130% surpluses for above 40 hours.
Additional Work Conditions:
- Overtime and temperature surpluses available upon client request.
- Holiday schedule to be discussed with the coordinator.
- Transportation to work is free. Accommodation within 10 km includes bicycles; beyond 10 km, the company provides transport and may offer driving positions.
Accommodation: Shared rooms (2 persons).
Candidate Requirements:
- Education: High school or higher for Order Picker and Reach Truck driver.
- Specializations: EPT certificate for Order Picker is a plus. Reach Truck certificate is required if applicable.
- Experience: Warehouse experience for Order Picker & EPT driver. Recent Reach Truck driver experience for Reach Truck driver. Packaging worker should have experience with heavy physical work.
- Language Skills: English level B2 or Dutch level A2-B1 for Order Pickers and Reach Truck drivers. English level A1-A2 for Packaging workers.
- Driving License: Required based on the number of drivers.
- Other Requirements: Neat, easy-going individuals with a flexible mentality, high motivation to work, ability to work individually and in a team, and proactive attitude.
